TPC Hybrid Coaching is an all-online service built around your event, current capacity, schedule and goals. Completing the Hybrid Athlete Assessment is the first step. Phil personally reviews whether TPC Hybrid Coaching is the right fit. This is individual coaching, not an automated program generator.

    Roughly 8–12 minutes. Race goals, training, equipment, baselines, health context and nutrition priorities.

  2. Phil reviews your profile

    Goals, schedule, performance information, limitations and nutrition needs, personally reviewed by Phil.

  3. Discuss suitability and expectations

    If the service appears suitable, Phil typically contacts you within 2 business days. Completing the assessment does not guarantee acceptance.

  4. Join TPC Hybrid Coaching

    Accepted clients complete onboarding directly with Phil.

Guided by Phil as a Nationally Recognised Nutritionist (NRN) with the Nutrition Council of Australia, Recognised Sports Nutritionist (SNC), Health & Wellness Coach (HWC) and Performance Nutrition Level 2. This is not medical nutrition therapy.

One complete hybrid coaching service. All-online and personally coached. The next step is the athlete assessment.

$149 per week

TPC Hybrid Coaching includes full hybrid programming, sports nutrition strategies and a custom plan built around your goal, personally coached online. Completing the assessment does not guarantee acceptance.

A separate technique-focused session for suitable/local clients. Not included automatically in the $149/week online coaching fee, and not a substitute for ongoing online programming. Sessions are held at Blackbird Fitness in Port Adelaide; other locations are available on request.

How long do I need to train for HYROX?

It depends on your current fitness, race date and how many days you can train. After you complete the athlete assessment, Phil reviews your timeline and builds a plan around the weeks you actually have, without promising a perfect preparation window.

Is this suitable for my first HYROX?

Yes. TPC Hybrid Coaching is built for first-timers through experienced hybrid athletes. The assessment captures your experience so programming can match where you are now.

Do I need access to every piece of HYROX equipment?

No. The assessment records what equipment you can reliably access. Programming works around real constraints rather than assuming a full HYROX facility.

How many days per week will I need to train?

Your plan is built around the days and session lengths you can realistically commit to. You state availability in the assessment; Phil does not force a one-size-fits-all weekly volume.

Is the program completely personalised?

Yes. This is individual coaching, not an AI-generated template. Phil personally reviews your assessment and builds your plan using the TPC Performance Hybrid System.

Does the coaching include running and strength work?

Yes. Hybrid performance requires running, strength, station skill and compromised work programmed together around your race and current capacity.

Is nutrition included?

Yes. Sports nutrition strategies are included in TPC Hybrid Coaching, including energy and macronutrient targets, meal structure, and training/race fuelling, guided by Phil as a Nationally Recognised Nutritionist (NRN) with the Nutrition Council of Australia, Recognised Sports Nutritionist (SNC), Health & Wellness Coach (HWC) and Performance Nutrition Level 2.

Can the plan work around injuries or limitations?

The assessment collects injury and limitation information for personal review. The assessment does not diagnose, treat or clear an injury. Concerning responses are flagged for human review, and Phil discusses what can be programmed safely.

What happens after I complete the assessment?

Your assessment is sent to Phil for personal suitability review. Completing the assessment does not guarantee acceptance. If the service appears to be a fit, Phil typically contacts you within 2 business days to discuss expectations and onboarding.

How quickly will I receive my program?

There is no instant automated program. Phil reviews your assessment personally and typically responds within 2 business days. If suitable, he discusses next steps with you before any program is built.

Is TPC affiliated with HYROX?

No. HYROX is a registered trademark of its respective owner. The Performance Coach is an independent coaching service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by HYROX unless expressly stated.

Can you coach athletes outside Australia?

TPC Hybrid Coaching is delivered online. Whether international clients are accepted at launch will be confirmed with Phil; note your location in the assessment so suitability can be reviewed.
